NT - McArthur River Mine Stainless Steel Plate Project

Custom Steel Fab was engaged to deliver a series of specialised stainless-steel plate fabrication for Glencore’s MacArthur River Mine in the Northern Territory.

Our team managed the process from in‑house fabrication and transport to site.

The scope of work included:

• Stainless steel plate washing stations
• Pump bases and frames
• Purpose‑built filtrate process tanks
• Abrasion‑resistant lined chutes
• Associated structural components
• Supply & fitment of electrically operated ram drive units

Working from our Mount Isa facility, we produced high‑quality components designed to withstand the demanding conditions of heavy mining operations.

This project highlights our capability to deliver customised stainless-steel solutions for remote mine sites, combining precision fabrication with practical delivery execution.
