Fabrication & install of E60 Head Drum with Platform and Access Stairs
Custom Steel Fab was engaged to remove key process existing structure while fabrication and assembly of the new replacement head drum over a critical conveyor asset.
Our Project managed scope included in‑house fabrication and transport to site while completing high risk work incident free on site during the removal of aged infrastructure.
The scope of work included:
- Executing Project Management & Supervision
- Completing a safe work statement for scaffolding, cranage and safe working at heights
- Fabrication and build of the new head drum including mechanical fit out
- Fabrication of the new landing platform & Stairs
- Transport & Logistics to site to complete safe installation
